Artificial named in the 2026 CB Insights Insurtech 50

Recognition follows a period of global growth and expansion.

London, 23 September, 2026: Artificial Labs (Artificial), the provider of digital broking and underwriting technology for the specialty and commercial insurance markets, has been named to the 2026 CB Insights Insurtech 50, the annual ranking of the 50 most promising private Insurtech companies in the world.

Now in its fifth year, the Insurtech 50 is selected from thousands of applicants and nominees, assessed on deal activity, industry partnerships, investor strength and hiring momentum.

Artificial is focused on one of the longstanding challenges in specialty insurance: connecting brokers and underwriters across complex transactions that still rely on fragmented systems, data and processes. Its technology helps brokers and carriers connect and transact complex specialty insurance business digitally.

“Specialty insurance is still a fundamentally disconnected market, and we’ve always believed there is a much bigger opportunity than simply making existing processes more efficient,” said David King, Co-Founder and Co-CEO of Artificial.

“We’re building technology that allows brokers and underwriters to work together differently. Being named to the Insurtech 50 is great recognition for our team and the progress we’re making.”

Artificial’s inclusion follows a period of significant growth for the business. The company raised a $45 million Series B earlier this year and is expanding its presence in the US and Europe, while continuing to invest in its technology and team.
