We are delighted to announce that we have been accepted onto this year’s Plug and Play Insurtech accelerator program.

Plug and Play are a global innovation platform connecting corporations, world-class startups and investors, and the program gives corporations the chance to match up with startups and tackle challenges using technology solutions.

As part of the General Focus category, Artificial will use the three month program to meet global corporate partners, work on deal flows and attend workshops and webinars held by the expert Plug and Play team.

Our application demonstrated how Artificial technology saves time and improves accuracy for underwriters.

Instead of spending up to 80% of their time on saying ‘no’ to submissions, our platform extracts key data points from broker submissions and automatically triages them to give the underwriter an accurate indication of risk.

This process can be done in a matter of seconds, rather than taking hours of manual work.

Artificial CCO David King said of the announcement:

This is a fantastic opportunity for us to showcase our technology to both Silicon Valley and some of the world’s largest insurance firms. We believe our technology is hugely beneficial to the market and we relish the chance to improve and grow even further with the experts from Plug and Play.
